Answer:

(i) 15ab2 – 20 a²b

= 5ab ( 3b - 4a)

(ii) x ( a -3) + y (3 - a)

= x ( a -3) - y (a - 3)

= (a- 3) (x- y)

(iii) 14m - 21

= 7(2m -3)

Answer:

1. \: 15 {ab}^{2} - 20 {a}^{2} b \\ = 3 \times 5 \times {ab}^{2} - 4 \times 5 \times {a}^{2} b \\ = 5ab(3b - 4a)

2.

x(a - 3) + y(3 - a) \\ = x(a - 3) - y(a - 3) \\ (a - 3)(x - y)

3.

14m - 21 \\ = 7 \times 2 \times m - 7 \times 3 \\ = 7(2m - 3)
