 {p}^{4}  -  {q}^{4}  =  { ({p}^{2} -  {q}^{2} ) }^{2}

similarly,

 {( {p}^{2} -  {q}^{2} ) }^{2}  =  { ({p}^{2}) }^{2}  +  { ({q}^{2}) }^{2}  - 2 {p}^{2}  {q}^{2}

 =  {p}^{4}  +  {q}^{4}  - 2 {p}^{2}  {q}^{2}
