Factores

\textbf{Solution}

\textbf{Step-By-Step-Solution}

 {x}^{2} - {y}^{2} - 2y - 1 = 0

so it seem in eq that

 - ( {y}^{2} + 2y + 1 = 0 )

\textbf{Using,formula}

 {x}^{2} + {y}^{2} + 2xy = {(x + y)}^{2}

so the above eq become

 {x}^{2} - ( {y}^{2} + {1}^{2} + 2y) = 0

 {x }^{2} - {(y + 1)}^{2} = 0

\textbf{Using, formula}

 ({x}^{2} - {y}^{2} ) = (x - y)(x - y)

so, above eq reduce in

 ({x}- (y + 1)) \: \: \: \: ( {x}+ y + 1)

 = x - y - 1

or

 {x} + y + 1
