 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  - 2 - 3x +  \frac{3}{x}

 =  ({x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  - 2.x. \frac{1}{x} ) - 3(x -  \frac{1}{x} )

 =  {(x -  \frac{1}{x} )}^{2}  - 3(x -  \frac{1}{x} )

  • Now take (x - \frac{1}{x}) as commom factor from both terms.

 =  {(x -  \frac{1}{x}) }(x -  \frac{1}{x}  - 3)
