6. (5a - 3b)² - 16b²

= (5a - 3b)² - (4b)²

= [ (5a - 3b) + (4b) ] [ (5a - 3b) - (4b) ]

= ( 5a - 3b + 4b ) ( 5a - 3b - 4b )

= ( 5a + b ) ( 5a - 7b )

Answer » (5a + b) (5a - 7b)

Identities Used »

a² - b² = (a + b) (a - b)

where,

(5a-3b)²-16b²

= (5a - 3b) - (4b)²

= [(5a-3b)+4b][(5a-3b)-4b]

= (5a+b)(5a-7b)
