12x²-7x+1
in this question we have to split the middle term ie. 7x
in such a way that the numbers product must be( the product of the coefficient of the 1st and last term ) 12*1 = 12
and the sum of the numbers must be -7x ( the middel number)
in this case we can split the number into -3x and -4x
as 3*4 = 12 and -3x-4x = 7x

so 12x²-7x+1
=> 12x²(-3x-4x)+1 ( here we have splitted the middle term)
=> 12x²-3x-4x+1
=> 3x(4x-1)-1(4x-1) (here we have took the common terms)
=> (3x-1)(4x-1)

hope so this will help you
but if u have more doubt just message me

thank you
