x^3-2x^2-5x+6​

p(x) =  {x}^{3}  - 2 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 6

p(1) = 0

Hence taking x-1 as common

 =  > (x - 1)( {x}^{2}  - x - 6)

 =  > ( {x}^{}  - 1)( {x}^{2}  - 3x  + 2x  - 6)

 =  > (x - 1)(x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) )

 =  > (x - 1)(x - 3)(x + 2)
