x^2+x+1 = 0

∆ = b^2 - 4ac

∆ = 1^2 - 4(1)(1)

∆ = 1 - 4

∆ = -3 (-3<0 means not real root)

∆ = 3i^2 (i^2 = -1)

∆ = b^2 - 4ac = 3i^2

x = (-b +- √b^2 - 4ac) / 2a

x = (-1 +- √3i^2)/2

x = (-1/2) + (i√3/2)

and

x = (-1/2) - (i√3/2)
