solution
    {a}^{4}  -  {b}^{4} \\  =  {( {a}^{2} )}^{2}  -  {( {b}^{2}) }^{2}  \\  =  ({a}^{2} +  {b}^{2} )( {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2} )  \\  =  ({a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} )(  \:  \:  \: {(a})^{2}  -  { \:  (b)}^{2}  \:  \: ) \\  = ( {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} ) \: (a + b)(a - b) \\  =   {(a + b)}^{2} (a + b)(a - b) \\  = (a + b)(a + b)(a + b)(a - b)
