Your question needs a correction,
Correct question,
x² -6x + 8
=> x² -6x + 8
=> x² -(4+2)x +8
=> x² -4x -2x +8
=> x( x -4) - 2(x -4)
=> (x -4)(x -2)
Factoried.
====================
Factors:-
(x -4) and (x -2)
I hope this will help you
