Correct Question
p(X)= 5x²-2√5x-3 Find its factor by spilting the middle term
Given
p(X)= 5x²-2√5x-3
To find
Factor by spilting the middle term
Solution
We have to spilt middile term in such away that the sum come -2√5 and product come 15.
5x²-2√5x-3
=>5x²-3√5x+√5x-3
=>√5x(√5x-3)+1(√5x-3)
=>(√5x-3) (√5x+1)
Spilting term is -3√5x+√5x
Hence the factor be (√5x-3) (√5x+1)
