Answer:

to factorize (x+1)³ - (x-1)³

we can use the following identity

a³ - b³ = (a - b)(a² + ab + b²)

here, a = x+1 and b = x - 1

therefore (x+1)³ - (x+1)³

=> (x+1)-(x-1) [ (x+1)² + (x+1)(x-1) + (x-1)² ]

=> x+1-x+1 [ x²+1+2x+x²-1+x²+1-2x ]

=> 2(3x² + 1)
