(x + 4)^{2}  =  {x }^{2}  + 2(x)(4) +  {4}^{2}

 {x}^{2}  + 8x + 16 = 0

Now factorise it by taking the sum and product

Sum=8

Product=16

Factors=4,4

Therefore,

 {x}^{2}  + 4x + 4x + 16 = 0 \\ x(x + 4) + 4(x + 4) = 0 \\  = (x + 4)( x + 4) \\  = x =  - 4
