factorise (x-2)^2-5(x-2)+6.​

→ ( x - 2 )² - 5 ( x - 2 ) + 6

→ x² + 4 - 4x - 5x + 10 + 6

→ x² - 4x - 5x + 10 + 6 + 4

→ x² - 9x + 20

By splitting middle term

→ x² - 5x - 4x + 20

→ x ( x - 5 ) - 4 ( x - 5 )

→ ( x - 4 ) ( x - 5 )

Identity used :-

→ ( a - b )² = a² + b² - 2ab
