x squre + 20x - 8000 = 0

x square + 20x - 400 x - 800 = 0

x(x+2o) -400 (x+20) = 0

x+20 or x - 400

x = - 20 or x = + 400

theeta: Incorrect. we will get x^2+(-80+100)x-8000 therefore the final factorization will be (x-80)(x+100)

Interesting Question!!

_____________________________________

x^2 + 20x - 8000

= x^2 + ( - 20 + 400 ) x - 8000

= x^2 - 20x + 400x - 8000

= x ( x - 20 ) + 400 ( x - 20 )

= ( x + 400 ) ( x - 20 )

_______________________________

Correct Answer ( x + 400 ) ( x - 20 )

MsPRENCY: Listen, We can take x^2 + ( - 80 + 100 ) x too
MsPRENCY: As, - 80 × 100 = - 8000 ☺
