x²-2x+7=0

x=-(-2)+√[(-2)²-4(1)(7)]/2
x= 2+√[4-28]/2
x=2+√(-24)/2

therefore, x =
 \frac{2 +  \sqrt{ - 24} }{2}
or
 \frac{2 -  \sqrt{ - 24} }{2}
