Answer:

Factorization:

This quadratic equation cannot be solved by normal method need to use following formula

X = (-b ± √b^2 -4ac)/2a

X^2 - 3X + 1 = 0

In this case,

a= 1

b = -3

c =1

X = (3±√9–4)/2

=(3±√5)/2

= (3±2.24)/2

X = (3+2.24)/2 , (3–2.24)/2

X = 5.24/2 , 0.76/2

Roots X = 2.62, 0.38

Answer:

Hope it's helpful for you

Step-by-step explanation:

 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 1

x  =  \frac{ - b  \frac{ + }{ - }   \sqrt{ {b }^{2} } -4ac  }{2a}

given.

a = 1 \\ b =  - 3 \\ c = 1

x =   \binom{3 \frac{ + }{ - } \sqrt{9}  - 4 }{2}

 =  \binom{3 \frac{ + }{ - }  \sqrt{5} }{2}

 = (  \frac{3 \frac{ + }{ - } 2.24}{2} )

x = ( \frac{3 + 2.24}{2} ) \:  \: ( \frac{3 - 2.24}{2} )

x =  \frac{5.24}{2}  \:  \:  \:  \frac{0.76}{2}

x = 2.26 \: and \: 0.38
