HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

x^2 - 4x + 3

First multiply both the ends: 3 and 1 = 3

L.C.M. of 3 = 3

Multiples of 3 = 3,1

Now ; -3-1 = -4

So now we have two variables,

-3x and -1x

Now it will be;

x^2 -3x -1x + 3

Now factorise them in two parts:-

x(x-3) - 1(x-3)

Now take (x-3) as common

(x-3)(x-1) ANS.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.
