 {x }^{2}   + 5 \sqrt{2 } x + 12 \\  =  {x}^{2}  + 3 \sqrt{2} x + 2\sqrt{2}x  + 12 \\  = x(x + 3 \sqrt{2} ) + 2 \sqrt{2} (x + 3 \sqrt{2} ) \\  = (x + 3 \sqrt{2} )(x + 2 \sqrt{2)}

x2+2root2x+3root2x+12=0

x(x+2root2)+3root2(x+2root2)=0

(x+3root2)(x+2root2)=0

x=-3root2,-2root2
