factorise x^2-7x-6.
pls answer my questions ​

By middle term splitting

we must choose two no. such that its product must be 6 and sum comes 7 and the two nos. are 6and 1

P=6X1=6

S=6+1=7

x^2-6x+1x-6

x(x-6) + 1(x-6)

(X+1) (x-6)
