Answer:

(x+2)^2- (x+4)^2

using identity a^2-b^2 = a+b)(a-b)

here a = X+ 2

b= X+ 4

[(X+2)+(X+4)] [(X+2)-(X+4)]

[X+X+2+4] [ X+2-X-4]

[ 2x+6] [ -2]

-2(2x+6)

-4x-12
