Answer:

x²+x-6=0

Here, the factors of 6 that when subtracted give +1 are 3 and 2, so

x²+3x-2x-6=0

Taking (x+3) common,

x(x+3)-2(x+3)=0

(x-2)(x+3)=0

Answer=> (x-2)(x+3)
