Answer:

 {x}^{2}  + x - ( {a}^{2}  + 3a + 2)

Here, a = 1, b = 1, c = -( {a}^{2} + 3a + 2 )</p><p></p><p>

x =  \frac{  -  b  \: ± \:  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}

x =  \frac{ - 1 \:± \sqrt{ {1}^{2} - 4 \times 1 \times  - ( {a}^{2} + 3a + 2)  }  }{2 \times 1}

x =  \frac{ - 1± \sqrt{1  + 4 {a}^{2}  + 12a + 8}  }{2}

x =   \frac{- 1± \sqrt{ {4a}^{2} +  12a + 9} }{2}

x =  \frac{ - 1± \sqrt{ {(2a + 3)}^{2} } }{2}

x =  \frac{ - 1±2a + 3}{2}

x =   \frac{ - 1 + 2a + 3}{2} \:  and \: x =  \frac{ - 1 -( 2a + 3)}{2}

x =  \frac{2(a + 1)}{2}  \: and \: x =  \frac{2( - a - 2)}{2}

x = (a + 1) \: and \: x =  - (a + 2)
