Hi friend!!

x²-y²-x-y

We know that

a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)

=(x-y)(x+y)-(x+y)

=(x+y)(x-y-1)

Hence factorised.

I hope this helps you ;)

Answer:

x^2-x -y^2-y

(x+y)(x-y)-(x+y)

=(x+y)[(x-y)-1]

=(x+y)(x-y-1)
