LONG DIVISION METHOD :

In this method, we first divide x³ + 13x² + 32x + 20 by x + 2 to obtain the quotient as a quadratic in x and then we factorise the quotient .

= (x+2) (x² + 11x + 10)

= (x+2) (x² + x + 10x + 10)

= (x+2) {(x² + x) + (10x + 10)}

Hence, + 13x² + 32x + 20 = (x+2) (x+1) (x+10) .
