the factors are (x-2) , (x-4) , (x+3)
soln:

x cube -3x square - 10x + 24
solving by hit and trial method
=> factors of 24 are + - 1, plus minus 2 ,plus minus 3, plus minus 4 ,plus minus 6 ,,plus minus 8 ,plus minus 12 and plus minus 24
taking px = 2
=>PX equal to 2 cube- 3 (2 )- 10 (2 )+ 24
32-32= 0
so x = 2
=> x-2 = 0

so dividing px by by x-2 it comes

=>x square - x - 12
=>x square - 4 x + 3 x - 12
=>x (x - 4 )+ 3 (x - 4)
=>( x - 4 ) ( x + 3 )

therefore( x -2 ), (x- 4), (x + 3) are the factors of p(x).

Also the solutions of the cubic polynomial are :
x = 2
x= 4
and x= -3

Hope it helps yo
