put x= -1 in equation
it is the root of the equation
(x+1) is the factor of the equation
Divide the equation by (x+1)
quotient= x^2 - 4x - 5
Now,
x^3-3x^2-9x-5 = (x+1)(x^2 - 4x - 5)
=(x+1)(x+1)(x-5). are the factors of equation.....
