factorise x^3 minus 6x ^2 plus 11x minus 6

hey there !!

Given that :


=) let f(x) = x^3 - 6x^2 +11x -6

by factor theorem if f(a) = 0 then (x-a ) is a factor of f(x) .

so we can see that f(1) = 0 ; so x-1 is factor of f(x)

similarly , f(2) = f(3) = 0 ; therefore
=) (x-2) and (x-3) are also factors of f(x)..

so f(x) can be written in factors form .

=) f(x) = (x-1)(x-2)(x-3)
