solution:-

given polynomial

x³-6x²+2x-4

factors of 4= ± 1 and ±2

therefore possible zeros are ±1 and ±2

substituting one by one

1³-6×1²+2×1-4 = - 7≠0

(-1)³-6(-1)²+2(-1)2-4= 13≠0

(2)³-6(2)²+2×2-4≠0

(-2)³-6(-2)²+2×(-2)-4 ≠ 0

hence the given polynomial is not factorise

this is prime type polynomial
