Factorise x(y – z)^2 - a(z - y)^3​

Solution:

x(y - z)^2 - a(z - y)^3

x(y^2 - 2yz + z^2) -
a(z^3 - 3z^2y + 3zy^2 - y^3)

Therefore

xy^2 – 2xyz + xz^2 – az^3 + 3az^2y – 3azy^2 + ay^3
