Let x^2-2x be A.

So,

A^2-2(A)-3

A^2-(3-1)A-3

A^2-3A+1A-3

A(A-3)+1(A-3)

(A+1)(A-3)

Now put the value of A at its place

(x^2-2x+1)(x^2-2x-3)

Hope the answer is correct....
