Given Equation

  • x² + 7x + 12

Solution

  • By middle term spiliting.

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x^2 + 7x + 12}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x^2 + 4x + 3x + 12}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x(x + 4) + 3(x + 4)}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {(x + 4) (x + 3)}

Finding roots, put p(x) = 0

\tt\longmapsto{x + 4 = 0}

\tt\longmapsto{x = -4}

or

\tt\longmapsto{x + 3 = 0}

\tt\longmapsto{x = -3}
