Answer:

Given that: x

2

+6x+8

=x

2

+4x+2x+8, (split middle term)

=(x

2

+4x)+(2x+8), (group pair of terms)

=x(x+4)+2(x+4), (factor each binomials)

=(x+4)(x+2), (factor out common factor (x+4)

Hence factors of x

2

+6x+8 are (x+4)(x+2)

Given :  x²-(y+z)²

To Find :  Factors

Solution:

x²-(y+z)²

Using identity

a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)

a = x

b = ( y + z)

= (x + y + z)(x - (y + z))

= ( x + y + z)(x - y - z)

x²-(y+z)²  = ( x + y + z)(x - y - z)
