 {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}

 =  {x}^{2}  - xy + xy -  {y}^{2}

 = x(x - y) + y(x - y)

 = (x + y)(x - y)

=x²-xy+xy-y²

=x(x-y) +y(x-y)

=(x+y) (x-y)
