Question:-

Factorise x2 + z2 - 2xz

Solutions:-

x² + z² + 2xz

= x² + 2xz + z²

Now splitting the middle term.

= x² + xz + xz + z²

= x( x +z) + z ( x + z)

= ( x + z) ²
