Answer:

x(x+2)(x-2)

zeroes: 0, -2 and 2

Step-by-step explanation:

x³-4x = x(x²-4)

= x (x² - 2²)

= x (x+2) (x-2)

the factors are x, x+2 and x-2

the zeroes are 0, -2 and +2. we get these by equating the factors with zero

Relation:

for cubic polynomial, ax³ + bx² + cx + d = 0

sum = -b/a

sum of product of 2 zeroes = c/a

product = -d/a

0 - 2 + 2 = 0 which is -0/1 i.e., -b/a (b is 0 because x² is not there)

0*-2 + -2*2 + 0*2 = -4 which is -4/1 i.e., c/a

0 * -2 * 2 is 0 which is -0/1 i.e., -d/a ( d is 0 because there is no constant)
