 {x}^{3}  - 6 {x}^{2}  + 11x - 6 \: if \: x + 2 \: is \: a \: factor

Put x=-2 here

 { (- 2)}^{3}  - 6 {( - 2)}^{2}  + 11( - 2) - 6 = 0

 - 8 - 24 - 22 - 6 =  - 32 - 22 - 6 =  - 54 - 6 =  - 60
