Solution

⟹ (x⁴ + 3x² + 4)

⟹ (x⁴ + 4x² + 4) - x²

⟹ (x² + 2)² - x²

⟹ (x² - 2 - x) (x² + 2 + x)

⟹ (x² - x + 2) (x² + x + 2)

Hence,

Proved that,

⟹ (x⁴ + 5x² + 4) = (x² - x + 3) (x² + x + 3 ).

Extra Dose:

  • (a + b)³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab (a+b)
  • (a - b)³ = a³ - b³ - 3ab (a -b)
  • ( a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab
  • (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

Thanks:
