we use split into middle term method

that is          if u add the factors, you get middle term

                    if u multiply them , you get last term

so , 65 = 13 x 5 and 18 = 13+5

         y^2 +5y+13y +65

         y ( y+5) + 13 ( y+5)                  ..... ( taking y as common )

           (y+5 )  (y+13)

therefore factors are -5 , -13
