Hey there!
We will factorise by spliting middle term :

y² + 4√3y - 15

y² - √3y + 5√3 y - 15

y ( y - √3 ) + 5√3 ( y - √3 )

( y - √3 ) ( y + 5√3)

 \boxed{ \boxed { y^2+4 \sqrt{3}y-15 = ( y - \sqrt{3} ) ( y + 5\sqrt{3}) }}

Hope helped!
