HEY MATE!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

y^2-7y+6=0

y^2-6y-y+6=0

y(y-6)-1(y-6)=0

(y-1)(y-6)=0

So, y-1=0 or y-6=0

y=1 or y=6

HOPE IT HELPED ^_^

Hey Dost !

Answer:

y^2- 7y +6 ---)  (1*6)

y^2- 6y-1y+6

y(y - 6) -1(y - 6)

(y-1) (y-6)

so, y-1=0

y= 1

and

y-6=0

y=6

Hence 1 and 6 are the factors.
