Answer:

Factorise = z^2 -12+4z

z^2+4z-12

By using quadratic formula

a= 1 ,b=+4 ,c= -12

D = b^2-4ac

= 4×4-4×1×(-12)

= 16-(-48 )

=16+48

=64

Discriminant =64

x = -a+√D/ 2a ,

x= -a-√D/2a

after putting value

x= -4+8/2, x= -4-8/2

x=2 , x=-6

two factors are 2 and -6
