Given,

=> 2x^2 + 3x - 90

In this type of questions at first we multiply imaginary first and last number then we split the middle term.

=> 2x^2 - 12x + 15x - 90

=> 2x(x-6) + 15 (x - 6)

=> (2x + 15) (x - 6)

2 {x }^{2}  + 3x - 90 \\ 2 {x}^{2}  + 15x - 12x - 90 \\ x(2x  + 15) - 6(2x + 15) \\ (2x + 15)(x - 6) \\ x =  - \frac{15}{2}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  - 6
