Answer:

(x+5) (x-15)

Step-by-step explanation:

100-(x-5)²

Using identity:(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

100-[x^2+25-2×x×5]

100-(x^2+25-10x)

100-x^2-25+10x

75-x^2+10x

-(x^2-10x-75)=0

(x^2-10x-75)=0

x^2-15x+5x-75=0

x(x-15)+5(x-15) =0

(x+5)(x-15) =0

Hope it's help u!

Answer:

factorise means resolve or be resolvable into factors.

the factorisation of 100 -(x-5) ² may be done in many way

the easiest way -

100 - (x-5)²

(10)²-(x-5)²

now using identity

a²-b² = (a+b)(a-b)

(10+x-5)(10-x+5)

(5 +x )( 15 - x )

so the answer is (5 +x) (15-x)

tips :

  • please try to learn all the identies
  • and maintain the flow of wirting
  • do the calculate very carefully
