here the ques is a bit wrong it should b 13x^2 + 24x -4 ....now i am solving according to 13x^2 + 24x -4

if u r in cls 10 follow this else look down i hv done it in 2 methods

cls 10 method :::

let f(x) = 13x²+24x-4

let x = -2

now, f(-2 ) = 52-48-4 = 0

°•°x = -2 •°• x +2 = 0

now, x+2) 13x²+24x-4( 13x -2

+13x²+26x

(-) (-)

- 2x - 4

-2x - 4

(+) (+)

0.

•°• 13x²+24x-4 = (x+2)(13x-2) .....

lower cls method :::

13x²+24x-4 = 13x² + 26x- 2x -2

= 13x(x+2) - 2(x+2)

= (13x-2)(x+2)

hope i am of some help ...
