factorize : 24a⁴ + 81a

both are divisible by 3 (highest common factor)  and a is common in both.

3a(8a³+27)

Factorize : x² + 7x - 18

(we have to use splitting the middle term method. In this type of factorization, we have to divide the middle term in such a way that they sum up to the middle term, and the product will be the last term. For doing this we have to find the factors of the last term and try to see if the factors add up to the middle term)

x² -9x + 2x - 18

( 2 added to  (-9) gives us  (-7) and -9×2 = (-18) which is the last term)

x(x-9) + 2(x - 9)

(x+2)(x-9)

hope it helps

have a great day!
