Answer:

Let (2x + 3y) = a

(x + y) = b

So,

a² + 2(a)(b) + b²

Applying the property of (a+b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

Therefore,

(2x + 3y + x + y)² = (2x + 3y)² + 2(2x + 3y) (x + y) + (x + y)²

(2x + 3y)² + 2(2x + 3y) (x + y) + (x + y)²  = (3x + 4y)²

Hope it helps you
