factorize 3(x-1)+(x-1)²

3x -3 + x^2 +1 -2x

x^2 +x -3 = 0

a = 1 b = 1 c = -3

for: -b+/- root b^2-4ac/2a

-1 + (1+12)/2 -1-(1+12)/2

= 12/2 = -14/2

= 6 = -7
