Let, (y-2) = x

Then, According to the question :

3x² - x - 44

=> 3x²-12x+11x-44

=> 3x(x-4)+11(x-4)

=> (3x+11)(x-4) ...(1)

On putting the value of x in equation (1) :

=> [3(y-2)+11](y-2-4)

=> (3y-6+11)(y-6)

=> (3y+5)(y-6)

I hope it will be helpful for you ✌️✌️
