Answer:
36-a²-b²-2ab = 0
a²+b²+2ab = 36
a²+b²+2ab - 36 = 0
(a+b)² - 6² = 0 [using identity (a+b)² = a²+b²+2ab]
Now if take a+b as x and 6 as y
then it will become x²-y² = 0
which can be further factorised as (x+y)(x-y)
In the case of this question the answer would be
(a+b+6)(a+b-6) = 0
Hope it helps you.
